Art Prof and Cantina formally announced a new Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) partnership to help address a dire gap in visual art instruction and education on a global scale. This pro-bono partnership connects Cantina with an always-on mission of supporting the arts and education in STEAM, and also provides a fertile playground for R&D and innovation in mobile design and software development. For ARTPROF.org, the digital partnership provides access to seasoned digital leadership, a deep bench of creative technologists, experience designers and producers who can help to optimize and evolve their “education on-demand” platform to meet the needs and interests of a growing global audience.

About Artprof

Art Prof is a free visual arts education platform for people of all ages and levels of ability. In most schools, visual arts programs are meager or simply do not exist. Private art classes and higher education programs are not affordable or require a linear approach to education. Art Prof provides a new opportunity for a global community to access trusted, curated and valued visual art instruction.

Art Prof is the creation of Clara Lieu, Thomas Lerra, and Alex Hart who have worked on the project for the past 3 years on a volunteer basis. The first version of the site was launched in February 2017 and funded by a 2016 Kickstarter campaign in addition to individual connections that Thomas was able to provide from his fifteen years in advertising.
